Assignment/Challenge: Every magazine has its own unique personality and the cover shouts it out to the world. The trick is to design a cover that cuts through the clutter on the newsstand and in people’s mailbox so they will choose your magazine to purchase or read.
Solution: Avoid the ordinary. Find the emotion in every context. Employ visuals that incorporate photographic, graphic, and fine arts to tell a story that connects with the audience. No subject is too dry to make it exciting.
